Travel Info
Saranac Lake is nestled in the heart of New York’s Adirondack Park and is accessible from several regional airports. The Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) in Lake Clear is just 10 minutes from the Hotel Saranac and offers daily flights to Boston Logan International Airport and New York’s JFK International Airport via Cape Air. Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG) is approximately one hour north of Saranac Lake and provides connections through American and United Airlines to Philadelphia and Washington Dulles. Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is located two hours north of Saranac Lake and across the Canadian Border, offering a multitude of international connections from major carriers included Delta, United, American Airlines, British Airways, Air France, KLM, and Lufthansa.
For those traveling from the greater Northeast, Albany International Airport (ALB) is roughly a 2.5-hour drive, Burlington International Airport (BTV) is approximately 1.5 hours, and Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) is about 3.5 hours.
Shuttle service from a select number of these regional airports will be offered. Please contact the summit organizing team if you are interested in utilizing this shuttle service.
Saranac Lake is also an easy drive from major urban centers including Montreal (2 hours), Boston (5 hours), and New York City (5 hours). Adirondack Trailways provides daily bus service from Albany, Syracuse, and other regional hubs.
Please note that ground transportation options such as taxis and rideshare services are limited in the Adirondacks, and attendees are strongly encouraged to arrange transportation in advance or consider renting a car.
