Dr Azim Ansari is a Wellcome Trust Fellow and Group Leader in the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford. His research combines statistical genetics, genomics and computational biology to understand how genetic variation in both humans and viruses influences infectious disease outcomes.
