Dr Daniel Munblit is an Associate Professor at King’s College London and an expert in paediatrics, clinical research methodology, and consensus development. His research focuses on harmonising outcomes and standardising research practices across allergic, infectious, and immune-mediated diseases.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led large adult and paediatric cohort studies in Moscow, generating evidence on disease progression and long-term outcomes.
Daniel currently leads outcome harmonisation work at the International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC). He developed Core Outcome Sets for post-COVID condition in both adults and children (PC-COS) and recently co-led the DEN-CORE project, which established core outcome set for dengue clinical trials. He is now leading another WHO-initiated international project, in collaboration with ISARIC, to develop a Core Outcome Set for the sequelae of meningitis and encephalitis.
He works closely with the WHO, ISARIC, and the COMET Initiative to advance global standards in outcome reporting and evidence generation.
