I study arboviruses in the context of One Health and systems thinking, encompassing lab work, epidemiological and field studies, diagnostic development, and computational studies. My interest is in understanding the factors that drive and alter the transmission of arboviruses, including Aedes-borne viruses like dengue and chikungunya, as well as under characterized Orthobunyaviruses. I also participate in community engagement and science communication in an effort to combat mis- and disinformation and advocate for a healthier global community.
