Virology Research UnitThomas-Wolf Verdonckt, PhD, is a virologist and immunologist at the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp. His research focuses on B- and T-cell mediated immune response dynamics, and the development of computational tools to support adaptive immune receptor repertoire analysis.
In addition to his scientific role, he contributes to capacity building and knowledge sharing within international research networks. He is passionate about long-term, multidisciplinary projects that tackle global health challenges and enjoys mentoring early-career scientists.
